This here is my colleague Adrian and I's first ever 3D community of practice learning session! On Fridays at RMIT, Adrian and I prepare tutorials and 3D content for our peers at university. We gather in the shared study space and Adrian and I share everything we found out about 3D design that week with the 3D community in our degree and others!

Our community of practice is a place for people like us, who are teaching themselves 3D software or trying to get started. The value we hope this brings to others is the shared learning process. Starting a new skill on your own can be a very lonely learning journey. Having a place to share your knowledge and the neat little things you learn during the week, gives us a space to learn, grow together and share the cool tricks and shortcuts we found during the week. I feel that this keeps me accountable each week as I keep looking for skills and inspiration to share. I have gotten a lot of valuable help from others from this community and I leave feeling motivated and inspired from it every week! Check out the posters we designed to advertise the community below!
